Uritskogo Street is located in the Novobelitsky District of Gomel and is 1,560 meters long. It received its name in 1926 in honor of revolutionary and statesman Moisey Solomonovich Uritsky. Before the revolution, the street was called Korenyovskaya and was the farthest left-bank street, beyond which forest and swamp began.

The modern appearance of the street began to take shape in the 1960s–70s with the construction of 5- and 9-story permanent residential buildings; however, some 1-story individual estate-type buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries have been preserved here. The street's infrastructure includes a pharmacy, the central branch of Sberbank of the Novobelitsky District, fire department, Bogatyr sports club, and other facilities. In 2024, improvement work began at 20A Uritskogo Street: new pedestrian paths, a children's playground, sports ground, parking areas, and recreation zones will be built here.
